The entry-level and midrange trims utilize a Skyactiv®-G 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that outputs 186 horsepower and 186 lb-ft of torque. Upper-end trims equip a turbocharged version of the same engine that increases power output to 250 horsepower and 320 lb-ft of torque. Both engines mate to i-Activ AWD® and a Skyactiv®-Drive six-speed automatic transmission that enhances driver engagement with two performance modes: Manual Shift and Sport.
Infotainment
The infotainment system in this new Mazda SUV is nothing short of leading edge. This year, an increased number of trims come standard with a large 10.25-inch center touchscreen display and wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ integration.
